Go ahead! Look up "trouper" in the dictionary! Today, there is likely a picture of Steve French. Steve's wife went into early labor last night (Wednesday) and he went into action: rather than jeopardize his 10 AM booking today, he got on the phone with the producers at 11 PM and recorded the entire piece on his home recording gear, emailing the hi-res files to the agency at midnight! As of this writing (10 AM on Thursday), Steve and his wife are still waiting for the contractions to hit the right rhythms, packed and ready to head to the hospital...but the job, which ships tomorrow morning, is safely tucked away "in the can". Kudos to him and thanks to the Hogarth/J.Walter Thompson team who swung into action!
